The FaUStian
"We hold these truths to be self evident: that our souls belong to the devil, and in return, we stir his hand."

Smile
Aura Code: F26969, bright red
Aura Scent: cooked ham
Ability: mouths on his hands
Age: 24
Kin: n/a
Tattoo: a cloud raining blood on his right thumb
Smile is the undisputed leader of the Faustian gang. They live in Rei, Siberia, though little remnants and branches lurk around the Heights in Gildargen. Though he may approve his gang to occasionally contending with the Valentine or Sakayama, he tends to attack lone innocents as a more favorable form of entertainment. Smile was raised in Japan by a single mother. His father would show up at the house demanding money and a place to stay every now and then. Smile was often the victim of abuses as is typical of truly broken homes and disturbed families. In middle school, he discovered his power. He would often practice it by luring unsuspecting females into the woods behind the school. Eventually, their bodies were found there, and Smile went into hiding. He started the gang on accident when he jokingly claimed to have sold his soul to a demon. But upon witnessing his power, a few people took him seriously and allied themselves with him. He only takes on people who have other powers. His favorite companions were two young men who both possessed the ability to erase powers. One became a void and left the group. The other stuck around in Gildargen when Smile left for Japan to escape gang life. But gang life followed him, and so, with a heavy, bored sigh, he just accepted that people were oddly attracted to him and his power, and so he uses and abuses them all to his personal pleasure.

Soliloquy Gideon Ambirge
Aura Code: _
Aura Scent: _
Ability: technomancy
Age: 17
Kin: Caius Ambirge (brother)
Tattoo: twisting black veins
Quite possibly the most famed and notorious invisible hacker on the globe, Soliloquy Ambirge is the dirge of all criminals and governmental persons around. In fact, his reputation inspired his alias: Dirge. Soliloquy enjoys tormenting the tormentors. His greatest feats include the time he crashed the military's defensive systems with a near irreparable virus that caused a two week setback in their plans. During this time, nearly fifty prisoners from varied jails managed to escape the country's varied prisons. Soliloquy is most entirely a theia. He was turned in to the GRAIL by his parents when he was but four years old. It was during one of the GRAIL's more successful times. Their holding cells were stocked full of theias and voids. There was barely any room to lie down and sleep, let alone stand, at least fifty people cramped in a tiny, dirty cell. The scientists would sneak them out of the cells unawares and perform ghastly experiments on them. Anything from electro-shock therapy to affect their personalities, to generalized cutting and probing to watch them writhe and scream. After so many years of such torture, Soliloquy forgot his real name, where he came from, his family, and any friends or memories he might have had. He still bears the scars of such misfortunes, but nothing stands out against his skin more than his tattoo. It is a complex network of black veins, twisting about the ridges and contours of his spine, all the way from the small of his back to the base of his neck. Soliloquy was marked, and it was his markings that caused him to become who he is now. When he was twelve, the holding cells were nearly empty after so many hundreds of hundreds of theias were exterminated. It was then he began discovering his power, forcing it out of him. It always reacted violently to his will, as if with a mind of its own. Under its influence, he killed. He killed guards, scientists, even a theia woman. His power: he calls it technomancy, but it isn't quite the same. He can meld himself into metal and electronics. He can control anything technological on impulse. He can deconstruct, reassemble, and reconstruct anything of metal and technology. He can create swords from the door of a car, he can turn machinery into robots, he can turn himself into a machine, he can communicate with computers. This is what makes him such a formidable opponent on the web and in the government mainframes. He can hack into computers deftly, leaving without a trace. The government has yet to be able to find a way to track him down. As Soliloquy's power grew, so did his desire to escape. He doesn't remember how he did. He believes he was under the influence of his powers. He doesn't have full control of them, rather, once he begins to use them, they take over him. When he escaped, he was left to roam the city using his will to survive and his powers to aid him along the way. As to his name, he found his middle and last name, while hacking into a government computer. But his first name has always been a mystery. He chose Soliloquy. It suits him. It's something he does. He talks to himself, to ease the loneliness. And soliloquies became his friend. Soliloquy is quiet, untrusting, and aloof. He doesn't relate to others, and they don't relate to him. What friends he might make are few, far between, and fleeting. His secret passion is art and music. He has a sort of inborn talent for it, though he says he learned it from information gathering on the internet. Soliloquy has always been alone, and he likes it. Alone with himself, his soliloquies, his electronics, and his art. He eventually found his brother, or rather, his brother found him. They only recognized each other by their shocking similarities. And then, after some discussion, realized who Soliloquy was. Caius was more than happy to take his brother into his gang. Soliloquy works in it alright, but he's pretty neutral about everything. So long as no one tries anything with him. He does his work and moves on. He's just relieved that he found a place where he doesn't have to run and hide all the time.
